RATES AND SERVICES

  • RECORDING
  • $ 400
    per day (plus GST)

  • Price is per 9 hour day. (11am – 8pm)

     

    No hourly rates, half days, or sessions under 3 days.

     

    Projects over 15 days are typically not accepted, with some exceptions.

     

    Projects of 7+ consecutive days include ferry travel, covered by a BC Ferries travel card for 1 vehicle and up to 4 passengers.

    Sessions are typically unattended, with streaming via the ListenTo app available.

    American and International clients pay in USD, tax-free.

Additional Services

⋅ Mastering: Digital, CD, Vinyl and Cassette masters for $10 per minute of audio.
⋅ Freelance engineering & Producing: Jordan is available for freelance work at other studios for $400 per day, plus travel and per diem.

Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise noted.
  50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking.

Grants & Funding

We are an approved recording studio for several funding programs, including Amplify BC and FACTOR.
Amplify BC, administered by Creative BC, offers funding to B.C. artists, sound professionals, and music companies. Their funding programs include Career Development and Demo Recording. International artists can also apply for funding through the Record In BC program, which supports established out-of-province and international artists recording in B.C. with local producers or at B.C.-based studios. This program covers up to 50% of eligible expenses for budgets ranging from $10,000 to $30,000.
FACTOR (The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings) provides grants and support for Canadian musicians and music companies, helping artists develop their careers and expand their reach.
